What happens after the customer purchases a digital product?
Step 1
The customer adds the digital product to the shopping cart and goes through the ordering process.
Step 2
The customer can choose from the payment methods you've set up. In the example below, only “Payment via Invoice” and "Bank transfer" are enabled. Of course, there are more payment options you can offer via Stripe.
Step 3
The customer will receive an email containing the invoice and order details. At the bottom of the invoice, the customer can find a link to the purchased digital product.
Step 4
When they click on the “View your order online” link, they will see the screen below. A “Download Now” link becomes visible, allowing them to download their purchased product. This download is saved directly to the computer.
⚠ Note: The link will only be visible to the customer once the digital product has been paid for.
Alternative method (file size too large)
List your product using text and image elements, and then create a payment link which you can add to a button. When a customer completes payment via the link, it will automatically offer a file for download or redirect to a specific webpage.
